Robert L. Stevenson Tribute

Open paper research competition

 

In August 2007, the International Communication Division voted to name this competition for Robert L. Stevenson and to establish an award for the top paper. Stevenson was, until his death in November 2006, a Kenan Professor at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. A prolific researcher in the field of international mass media, he served as a mentor and friend to many students and scholars.
